Our Harrogate Easier Living Project (HELP) supports adults to continue living safe, well and independently at home with volunteers helping people on both a practical and emotional level with:
- Voluntary car driving, helping people limited by mobility or location to attend medical appointments, make essential trips and join social activities.
- Help at Home gardening, decorating and odd job service supporting residents unable to do to the work themselves and without the means to pay for private tradespeople.
- Home befriending in Ripon providing social contact to isolated residents.
- Information and signposting to connect people with other local sources of support.
- Social and craft groups.
HELP is part of Harrogate and District Community Action.
